NBI has defined following “focus areas” as core area of its work with the Nepalese Private Sector and its stakeholders:
(i) Peace, Security and Rule of Law
Advocate for and generate support from private sector for smooth transition to federal Nepal as well as proision of inclusive and efficient delivery of public security and law enforcement
(ii) Responsible and Sustainable Business Practices
Promote responsible business integrating social, environmental and economic concerns through good stakeholder relations, Corporate Social Responsibility, Code of Conducts, Sustainable Development Goals, etc.
(iii) Innovation and Entrepreneurship
Promote innovation and entrepreneurship in general and support economic opportunities for conflict affected, marginalized segments of society by fostering market linkages and facilitating the matching of labor demand and supply.
