A national Code of Conduct on ethical business practices was officially launched on 28th July, 2013. A baseline survey report on Ethical Business Practice in Nepal was also launched on the same day. The event was inaugurated and by Rt. Honorable Mr Khilraj Regmi.
NBI organized an interaction with members from Nepal Consumer Forum in 6 April 2013 on various aspects of consumer rights promotion in Nepal. In the interaction program, Mr. Jyoti Baniya from NCF and Mr. Saroj Pandey from NBI presented their papers. The interaction lead to enrichment of consumer rights section in the NBI Code of Conduct concepts.
As a part of NBI Advocacy for better security for private sector in Nepal, national workshop was organized following a series of interactions with district stakeholders in 26 August 2013. The national workshop was a culmination of all the demands as well as support local and national private sector actors have been providing for better security in the country in post-conflict scenario.
